Dihydrocytochalasin B

Description: Dihydrocytochalasin B (H2CB) is a cell division inhibitor that alters cell morphology, similar to cytochalasin B, but does not inhibit glucose transport. H2CB disrupts actin structure and inhibits growth factor-stimulated DNA synthesis, reversibly preventing DNA synthesis initiation. Additionally, H2CB inhibits active calcium transport, increasing calcium ions in mucosal scrape. Target: Others.
