(+)-Atenolol is an enantiomer of the beta1-adrenergic receptor (beta1-AR) antagonist (±)-atenolol (Cay-17250). (+)-Atenolol inhibits radioligand binding to beta-ARs on sarcolemma-enriched membranes (Ki = 8.61 µM).
