Sample Type:, Serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, Intended Use: For the quantitative determination of mouse FMS-like tyrosine kinase 3 ligand (Flt-3L) concentrations in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates. Sensitivity: 3.9pg/ml, Range: 15.6-1000pg/ml, Specificity: This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of mouse Flt-3L. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between mouse Flt-3L and analogues was observed. Test Principle: This BioAssay(TM) employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. Antibody specific for Flt-3L has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any Flt-3L present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for Flt-3L is added to the wells. After washing, avidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of Flt-3L bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
