Das im Vereinigten Königreich ansässige Unternehmen Research Donors (RD) wurde 2018 aufgrund des wachsenden Bedarfs an einer europäischen Quelle für frische, hochgradig charakterisierte Humanblut-Bioproben für die Forschung gegründet. RD führt gezielte Spenderrekrutierungen von gesunden, freiwilligen Spendern durch und verfügt über eine eigene Blutentnahmeeinrichtung in London mit einem Verarbeitungslabor vor Ort. Das Portfolio umfasst unter anderem Vollblut, Buffy Coats, PBMCs, Leukopaks, Plasma und Serum. RD bietet kurze Lieferfristen, umfassende Spenderinformationen, Spender-Rückrufoptionen, HLA-Typisierung auf Anfrage und mehr. Frisch entnommene Proben werden direkt aus England an Sie versendet und die Zustellung erfolgt am Tag nach der Probenentnahme bis 17:00 Uhr, wodurch sich besondere Versandkosten ergeben.
