Presporulation Medium (Powder)

Presporulation Medium is used on strains of yeast cells that do not sporulate efficiently, such as those that carry mutations that cause the cells to grow slowly or ferment poorly, are grown for 1 to 2 days before the cells are transferred to Sporulation Medium. Thus increasing sporulation effeciency. Storage: Store powdered media at RT. Opened bottles should be capped tightly and kept in a dark, low humidity environment. Prepared media should be kept at 4°C and used within a short period of time
