NZYTaq 5x Optimizer Solution

NZYTaq 5x Optimizer Solution was developed to improve the efficacy and reduce the levels of non-specific amplifications of particular difficult PCR reactions using Taq DNA polymerase. The solution contains a proprietary range of additives and stabilizers that have proven particularly useful when attempting to amplify ancient DNA or templates contaminated with PCR inhibitors such as melanin, myoglobin or hemoglobin, for example. It is also useful for amplification of nucleic acids with high GC% (50-70%). Improving yields of difficult templates using NZYTaq DNA polymerase:The addition of 5x Optimizer Solution dramatically improves yields and specificity of problematic targets in PCR amplifications using NZYTaq DNA polymerase. To test the effect of this supplementation, two different human genomic DNA sequences with GC-contents of 71.6 % (gene 1) and 65.7 % (gene 2) were amplified, in parallel, using NZYTaq DNA polymerase or NZYTaq DNA polymerase plus the optimizer solution.NZYTaq 5x_Optimizer_SolutionHuman genomic DNA used as template in the PCR reactions was isolated from human blood, which contains known PCR inhibitors.
