Mouse BMPR1A, recombinant (C-Fc-6His)

Recombinant Mouse Bone Morphogenetic Protein Receptor Type IA/Activin Receptor-like Kinase 3 is produced by our Mammalian expression system and the target gene encoding Gln24-Arg152 is expressed with a human IgG1 Fc, 6His tag at the C-terminus. Protein function: On ligand binding, forms a receptor complex consisting of two type II and two type I transmembrane serine/threonine kinases. Type II receptors phosphorylate and activate type I receptors which autophosphorylate, then bind and activate SMAD transcriptional regulators. Receptor for BMP2, BMP4, GDF5 and GDF6. Positively regulates chondrocyte differentiation through GDF5 interaction (PubMed:24098149). Mediates induction of adipogenesis by GDF6 (PubMed:23527555). [The UniProt Consortium]
