Exo-beta-Glucosaminidase 9A (PpEbd9A), assigned the E.C. number 3.2.1.165, is a derivative of Photobacterium profundum. It is an enzyme that participates in the hydrolysis of chitosan or chitosan oligosaccharides to remove successive D-glucosamine residues from the non-reducing termini.
