CA125 Cancer Antigen (Ovarian Cancer), Purified

According to the ISOBM-TD-1 workshop, CA125 contains three antigenic domains: A-domain (Oc125), B-domain (M11), C-Domain (Ov197). The CA-125 antigen is present on a mucin-like glycoprotein of >200kD and is detectable on the apical surface of normal endometrium and endocervix. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and RIA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Specific Protein: As Reported , Total Protein: As Reported , Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
