alpha-Neoagarobiose hydrolase 117A (BpAhg117A), assigned the E.C. number 3.2.1.159, is a derivative of Bacteroides plebeius. It is a 1,3-alpha-3,6-anhydro-l-galactosidase that catalyses the last step in the degradation pathway of agars.
