Lipid 10 is an ionizable cationic lipid (pKa = 6.2-6.5). Lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) containing lipid 10 and encapsulating siRNA for the gene encoding cytoskeleton-associated protein 5 (CKAP5) reduce its gene expression and protein levels in vitro and selectively reduce cell viability in a variety of genetically unstable cancer cell lines.
