G0-C14

G0-C14 is an ionizable cationic lipid that has been used in the generation of lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) for the delivery of siRNA in vitro and in vivo. Administration of LNPs containing G0-C14 and encapsulating siRNA targeting CaMKIIgamma increases plaque stability and promotes macrophage efferocytosis of apoptotic cells within plaques in a fat-fed Ldlr-/- mouse model of atherosclerosis. LNPs containing G0-C14 and encapsulating siRNA targeting IL11 reduce fibrosis in a mouse model of bleomycin-induced pulmonary fibrosis when administered via inhalation.
