Clerosterol

Clerosterol is a phytosterol that has been found in C. fragile and has diverse biological activities. It is active against T. b. brucei (IC50 = 53.6 µg/ml). Clerosterol inhibits the proliferation of A2058 melanoma cells (IC50 = 150 µM).
