Cho-es-Lys

Cho-es-Lys is a cationic cholesterol derivative composed of cholesterol (Cay-9003100) conjugated to an L-lysine head group containing two primary amines (pKas = 10.48 and 9.46) via a hexanediol linker. It has been used for transfection of Cy3-pDNA in COS-7 cells.
