C16 Ceramide-mPEG(2000)

A PEGylated form of C16 ceramide, has been used in the generation of microspheres, LNPs, and liposomes for the delivery of small molecules, mRNA, and plasmid DNA in vitro and in vivo, liposomes containing C16 ceramide-mPEG(2000) with a stearylated-INF7 and have been used to transfect plasmid DNA into MFLM-4 cells, microspheres containing C16 ceramide-mPEG(2000) and encapsulating oxaliplatin increase survival and decrease the number of small intestine, colon, and cecum polyps in an Apc+/Minz spontaneous colorectal adenoma mouse model.
