5-Butyl-4-phenyl-6-[4-(phenylmethoxy)phenyl]-2-pyrimidinamine is an inhibitor of microsomal prostaglandin E synthase-1 (mPGES-1, IC50s = 117 and 60 nM for the human and mouse enzymes, respectively). It inhibits LPS-induced prostaglandin E2 (PGE2, Cay-14010) production in mouse peritoneal cells (IC50 = 31 nM).
