XFD700 is the same molecule as the Alexa Fluor(R) 700 (Alexa Fluor(R) is the trademark of ThermoFisher). It is a bright and photostable near-IR dye that can be excited with a xenon-arc lamp, far-red diode lasers, or dye pumped lasers operating in the 675-700 nm range. It is used for stable signal generation in imaging and flow cytometry, and can be conjugated to antibodies, peptides, proteins, tracers, and amplification substrates. XFD700 has an absorption maximum at 702 nm and an emission maximum at 723 nm. It is compatible with all common excitation sources and instruments and can replace standard fluorophores such as Cy5.5 or IR680 for most applications. Solvent: DMSO.
