Cyanine3.5 is a fluorescent dye with absorption and emission properties that fall between those of Cyanine3 and Cyanine5. The sulfonated variant of this dye includes four sulfo groups, which enhance its solubility and hydrophilicity, as well as that of the labeled conjugates.
