iFluor(TM) 560 succinimidyl ester

Molecular weight: 1257.45 Excitation (nm): 560, Emission (nm): 571, Extinction coefficient (cm-1 M-1): 120000, Quantum yield: 0.57, Correction factor (280 nm): 0.069. Cy3 is the least fluorescent dyes among all the Cy dyes. Cy3B was an improved version of Cy3 dyes with significantly increased fluorescence quantum yield and photostability. However, Cy3B has extremely poor water solubility, making it difficult for labeling biomolecules although it has greatly improved fluorescence. iFluor(TM) 560 has almost identical spectral properties to Cy3B. Compared to Cy3B, iFluor(TM) 560 has significantly improved water solubility.
