APC (Allophycocyanin)

APC is a phycobiliprotein purified from a specises of blue green algae. APC is supplied in 100 mM potassium phosphate buffer, pH7.0 with 60% saturated (NH4)2SO4, 1 mM EDTA, and 1 mM Sodium Azide. Molecular Weight: 105 kDa Absorption Maximum: 651 nm Emission Maximum: 662 nm Extinction Coefficient: 7.0×105cm-1M-1 Quantum Yield: 0.680 Instruction: Mix thoroughly APC until no precipitate is observed to get homogeneous solution. Further removal all the remaining ammonium sulfate and buffer exchange to the conjugation buffer.
