AATOM(TM) 488 NHS ester

AATOM(TM) 488 is a rhodamine-based fluorescent label. Unlike other AATOM(TM) dyes, it has excellent water solubility. It has good spectral properties useful for fluorescence imaging applications, including strong absorption, high fluorescence quantum yield and high photostability. AATOM(TM) 488 is highly suitable for single-molecule detection applications and high-resolution microscopy such as PALM, dSTORM, STED etc. The dye may be also used in flow cytometry (FACS), fluorescence in-situ hybridization (FISH) and other biological applications. AATOM(TM) 488 NHS ester is used for labeling amino-containing molecules such as proteins, peptides and amino-modified oligonucleotides. Solvent: DMSO. Spectral properties: Excitation (nm): 500.
