Quinacrine mustard (hydrochloride)

Quinacrine mustard is a fluorescent DNA-intercalating agent. It selectively binds to adenine-thymine (AT) base pairs over guanine-cytosine (GC) base pairs. Quinacrine mustard has been used to label metaphase chromosomes for karyotyping by autoradiography.
