Isoreserpiline

Isoreserpiline is an indole alkaloid that has been found in R. tetraphylla and has diverse biological activities. It has a synergistic effect on the antibacterial activity induced by nalidixic acid (Cay-19807) in nalidixic acid-sensitive and -resistant strains of E. coli.
