(-)-Indolactam V is a tumor-promoting teleocidin compound that activates protein kinase C (PKC). It binds to PKC regulatory domains of mouse skin PKCeta and rat brain PKCgamma with Ki values of 3.4 nM and 1 µM, respectively.
