An AMPA receptor positive allosteric modulator, attenuates desensitization and slows deactivation of GluA1 and GluA2, increases AMPA-stimulated glucose utilization in cortical astrocytes (EC50 = 93.2 µM), reduces mechanical and cold allodynia and immobility time in the forced swim test in rat model of SNI-induced neuropathic pain at 10 mg/kg, reverses fentanyl- and phenobarbital-mediated respiratory depression in rats at 16 mg/kg.
