A metallo-protease inhibitor. Inhibits aminopeptidase B, leucine aminopeptidase and leukotriene A4 hydrolase. Inhibits enkephalin degradation in cell preparations from brain. Does not inhibit carboxypeptidases. Appearance: White crystalline powder, Solubility: Colorless, clear to slightly hazy at 25mg/ml in water, Carbon, Anhydrous (%): 54.6-56.9%, Nitrogen, Anhydrous (%): 8.0-8.3%, Chloride, Anhydrous (%): 10.0-10.6%, Moisture (Karl Fischer): < 6%, Recommended Dilution: 40ug/ml (130uM)
