Description: ART899, a derivative of ART558, is a potent and specific conformational inhibitor of DNA polymerase theta (Poltheta). It specifically inhibits the MMEJ activity of Poltheta with an IC50 of 180 nM. Additionally, ART899 selectively enhances the radiosensitivity of tumor cells and possesses a strong independent antitumor effect on cancer cells.
