Q203 is an imidazopyridine amide antibiotic. It is active against M. tuberculosis and M. ulcerans (MIC50s = 2.7 and 0.86 nM, respectively). Q203 binds to the oxidation site on mitochondrial complex III, also known as cytochrome bc1 complex, and disrupts ATP synthesis in M. tuberculosis (IC50 = 1.1 nM).
