Mouse CFL1 (Cofilin 1, Non Muscle) ELISA Kit

The test principle applied in this kit is Sandwich enzyme immunoassay. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Mouse CFL1. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells then with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to Mouse CFL1. Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain Mouse CFL1, biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm. The concentration of Mouse CFL1 in the samples is then determined by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve. Protein Function: Binds to F-actin and exhibits pH-sensitive F-actin depolymerizing activity (PubMed:11809832). In conjunction with the subcortical maternal complex (SCMC), plays an essential role for zygotes to progress beyond the first embryonic cell divisions via regulation of actin dynamics (PubMed:25208553). Required for the centralization of the mitotic spindle and symmetric division of zygotes (PubMed:25208553). Plays a role in the regulation of cell morphology and cytoskeletal organization in epithelial cells (By similarity). Required for the up-regulation of atypical chemokine receptor ACKR2 from endosomal compartment to cell membrane, increasing its efficiency in chemokine uptake and degradation (By similarity).
