Hydrolyzes propionyl and butyroyl moieties approximately half as effectively as PAF. Also catalyzes transacetylation of the acetyl group from platelet-activating factor (PAF) to lysoplasmalogen and to sphingosine, producing plasmalogen analogs of PAF and N-acetylsphingosine (C2- ceramide) respectively.
