Produktinformationen "Human EFNB1 (Ephrin B1) Microsample ELISA Kit"
The test principle applied in this kit is Sandwich enzyme immunoassay. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human EFNB1. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells then with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to Human EFNB1. Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain Human EFNB1, biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm. The concentration of Human EFNB1 in the samples is then determined by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.Detection Range: 0.16-10 ng/mL. Sensitivity: 0.071 ng/mL. Assay Type: Sandwich. Standard: 10 ng/mL. Sample Type: sTissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids.. Assay duration: 3.5h. Protein Function: Cell surface transmembrane ligand for Eph receptors, a family of receptor tyrosine kinases which are crucial for migration, repulsion and adhesion during neuronal, vascular and epithelial development (PubMed:7973638, PubMed:8070404). Binding to Eph receptors residing on adjacent cells leads to contact-dependent bidirectional signaling into neighboring cells (PubMed:7973638, PubMed:8070404). Shows high affinity for the receptor tyrosine kinase EPHB1/ELK (PubMed:7973638, PubMed:8070404). Can also bind EPHB2 and EPHB3 (PubMed:8070404). Binds to, and induces collapse of, commissural axons/growth cones in vitro (By similarity). May play a role in constraining the orientation of longitudinally projecting axons (By similarity) [The Uniprot Consortium]
