G.alpha.o Activation Assay Kit

Configuration-specific monoclonal antibody that recognizes G.alpha.o-GTP, but not G.alpha.o-GDP. The only available G.alpha.o activation assay kit directly measures the level of G.alpha.o-GTP. Providing reliable results with consistent reproducibility than other G.alpha.o activation assay kits based on certain downstream signaling pathways. Providing shorter experimental time. Could be used to monitor the activation of G.alpha.o in cells and in tissues by immunohistochemistry. Protein function: Guanine nucleotide-binding proteins (G proteins) are involved as modulators or transducers in various transmembrane signaling systems. The G(o) protein function is not clear.
