The microtiter plate provided in this BioAssay(TM) kit has been pre-coated with Chloramphenic ol antigen. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with Chloramphenicol specific antibody and Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated anti-antibody. The competitive inhibition reaction is launched between pre-coated Chloramphenicol and Chloramphenicol in standards or samples with the Chloramphenicol special antibody. A substrate solution is added to the wells and the color develops in opposite to the amount of Chloramphenicol in the standards or samples. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
