Product Description: Transforming growth factor beta receptor 3 (TGFBR3), also known as betaglycan, is a cell surface proteoglycan that binds various members of the TGF-beta superfamily. It is the most widely expressed TGF-beta receptor, with high affinity for all TGF-beta isoforms. TGFBR3 functions as a co-receptor, facilitating ligand binding to other TGF-beta receptors, and can exist in membrane-bound and soluble forms.
