Product Description: LRR binding FLII interacting protein 2 (LRRFIP2) is a multifunctional protein characterized by leucine-rich repeat (LRR) domains, which facilitate protein-protein interactions and are implicated in the regulation of several signaling pathways, notably the canonical Wnt/beta-catenin pathway, where LRRFIP2 may act as an activator upstream of beta-catenin. Structurally, LRRFIP2 shares significant sequence homology with LRRFIP1 and is known to interact with the LRR domain of flightless I homolog (Fliih), modulating innate immune responses by disrupting the MyD88-Fliih interaction during Toll-like receptor (TLR) signaling, particularly upon lipopolysaccharide (LPS) stimulation.
