Product Description: IKAROS family zinc finger 3 (IKZF3), also known as Aiolos, is a hematopoietic-specific transcription factor belonging to the Ikaros family of zinc-finger proteins, which also includes Ikaros and Helios. Structurally, IKZF3 contains both N-terminal zinc finger domains for DNA binding and C-terminal zinc fingers for protein-protein interactions, enabling it to regulate gene expression through chromatin remodeling, direct DNA binding, and formation of transcriptional complexes. IKZF3 plays a critical role in the regulation of B lymphocyte proliferation and differentiation, and its function is mediated by the sequential formation of homodimers and heterodimers with other Ikaros family members.
