Product information "UFC1, Recombinant, Human, aa1-167, His-tag (HSPC155)"
UFC1 is an E2-like conjugating enzyme for ubiquitin-fold modifier-1. UFM1 is activated by a novel E1-like enzyme, UBA5, by forming a high-energy thioester bond. Activated UFM1 is then transferred to its cognate E2-like enzyme, UFC1, in a similar thioester linkage. Source: Recombinant corresponding to aa1-467 from human UFC1, fused to His-tag at N-terminus expressed in E.coli.
