NR6A1 (human, recombinant)

Nuclear receptor subfamily 6 group A member 1 (NR6A1) is a nuclear receptor transcriptional repressor. NR6A1 primarily is expressed in early embryonic development but it is also expressed in developing spermatid cells in testes and pre-meiotic ovaries. Nr6a1 homodimers regulate trunk vertebrae number, trunk elongation, and sacral development, as well as promote neuron-related gene expression in neuromesodermal progenitors, during mouse embryonic development. Deletion of Nr6a1 is embryonically lethal in mice.
