Product information "HDAC2, Recombinant, Human, aa1-488, His-tag (Histone Deacetylase 2, Tanscriptional Regulator Homolog"
HDAC2 belongs to the histone deacetylase family that act via the formation of large multiprotein complexes and are responsible for the deacetylation of lysine residues on the N-terminal region of the core histones. It forms transcriptional repressor complexes by associating with many different proteins, including YY1, a mammalian zinc-finger transcription factor. It also plays an important role in transcriptional regulation, cell cycle progression and developmental events. Purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. Source: Recombinant corresponding to aa1-488 of human HDAC2, expressed with c-terminal His-tag in high-5 cells using baculovirus expression system.
