Product information "(±)14(15)-DiHETE MaxSpec(R) Standard"
(±)14(15)-DiHETE is an oxylipin and a metabolite of the omega-3 fatty acid eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA, Cay-90110, Cay-90110.1, Cay-21908). It is formed via cytochrome P450-mediated epoxidation of EPA to (±)14(15)-EpETE (Cay-10173), followed by conversion of the epoxide to a diol by soluble epoxide hydrolase. (±)14(15)-DiHETE MaxSpec(R) standard is a quantitative grade standard of (±)14(15)-DiHETE (Cay-10006998) that has been prepared specifically for mass spectrometry and related applications where quantitative reproducibility is required. The solution has been prepared gravimetrically and is supplied in a deactivated glass ampule sealed under argon. The concentration was verified by comparison to an independently prepared calibration standard. This (±)14(15)-DiHETE MaxSpec(R) standard is guaranteed to meet identity, purity, stability, and concentration specifications and is provided with a batch-specific certificate of analysis.
