UGO Rho14 is a new fluorescent label based on the rhodamine structure. It exhibits unmatched fluorescence efficiency within this wavelength range, along with excellent photostability. The absorption and fluorescence are pH-independent in the pH range of 2-11. UGO Rho14 is a cationic dye, carrying a single positive charge after coupling to a substrate. It is moderately hydrophilic. The dye's fluorescence is excited within the 610-645 nm range, and suitable excitation light sources include the HeNe laser (633 nm) or common diode lasers emitting at 635 nm. Chemical Properties Storage Upon receipt, store at -20°C in the dark. Protect from light and moisture. When stored as indicated, UGO NHS-esters are stable for at least 3 years.
