The kit is a Sandwich enzyme immunoassay for in vitro quantitative measurement of GS in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. Detection Range: 15.63--1000pg/mL. Sensitivity: 9.38pg/mL. Protein function: Essential for proliferation of fetal skin fibroblasts. This enzyme has 2 functions: it catalyzes the production of glutamine and 4-aminobutanoate (gamma-aminobutyric acid, GABA), the latter in a pyridoxal phosphate-independent manner.
