Cayman's FAAH Inhibitor Screening Assay Kit provides a convenient fluorescence-based method for screening FAAH inhibitors. FAAH hydrolyzes AMC arachidonoyl amide resulting in the release of the fluorescent product, 7-amino-4-methylcoumarin (AMC). The fluorophore can be easily analyzed using an excitation wavelength of 340-360 nm and an emission wavelength of 450-465 nm.Synonyms: Anandamide Amidohydrolase 1, FAAH, Oleamide Hydrolase 1, PSAB.
