Palmitoyltransferase with broad specificity. Palmitoylates GABA receptors on their gamma subunit (GABRG1, GABRG2 and GABRG3), which regulates synaptic clustering and/or cell surface stability. Palmitoylates glutamate receptors GRIA1 and GRIA2, which leads to their retention in Golgi (By similarity). Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA, Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000, Western Blot: 1:100-500, Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
