SGEF activates RhoG GTPase by promoting the exchange of GDP by GTP. Required for the formation of membrane ruffles during macropinocytosis. Required for the formation of cup-like structures during trans-endothelial migration of leukocytes. In case of Salmonella enterica infection, activated by SopB, which induces cytoskeleton rearrangements and promotes bacterial entry. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: Formalin fixed and paraffin embedded tissues, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
