Product information "Anti-Sentrin (SUMO, Small Ubiquitin-related Modifier, Smt3)"
Small ubiquitin-related modifier (SUMO) proteins are conjugated to numerous intracellular targets and serve to modulate protein interaction, localization, activity, and stability. SUMO (also known as " Smt3 " and " sentrin " in other organisms) is linked to several different pathways, including nucleocytoplasmic transport. The attachment of SUMO to targets proteins is stimulated by (protein inhibitor of activated STATs PIAS) proteins that serve as E3-like ligases. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:5000-1:20,000, Western Blot: 1:1000-1:10,000, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
