Anti-PTPN20A, ID (PTPN20A, Tyrosine-protein phosphatase non-receptor type 20) (Azide free) (FITC)

The product of this gene belongs to the family of classical tyrosine-specific protein tyrosine phosphatases. Many protein tyrosine phosphatases have been shown to regulate fundamental cellular processes and several are mutated in human diseases. Chromosome 10q contains a segmental duplication resulting in multiple copies of the protein tyrosine phosphatase, non-receptor type 20 gene. The two nearly identical copies are designated as PTPN20A and PTPN20B. A third copy is only partially duplicated and contains a pseudogene, designated as PTPN20C. This gene encodes the more telomeric copy, PTPN20B. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Flow Cytometry, FLISA, Recommended Dilution: FLISA: 1:1,000, Western Blot: 1:100-500, Immunohistochemistry: 1:10-50, Flow Cytometry: 1:10-50, Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light.
