Product information "Anti-PRP8 Pre-mRNA Processing Factor 8 Homolog (PRPF8, P"
Pre-mRNA splicing occurs in 2 sequential transesterification steps. The protein encoded by this gene is a component of both U2- and U12-dependent spliceosomes, and found to be essential for the catalytic step II in pre-mRNA splicing process. It contains several WD repeats, which function in protein-protein interactions. This protein has a sequence similarity to yeast Prp8 protein. This gene is a candidate gene for autosomal dominant retinitis pigmentosa. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Dot Blot, Immunocytochemistry and Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 0.2-2ug/ml, Immunocytochemistry: 2-100ug/ml, Flow Cytometry: 0.5-2ug/sample, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
