Anti-Protein Kinase A, Substrate (PKA) (RRXS/T) (100G7E)

An important class of kinases, refered to as Arg-directed kinases or AGC-family kinases, includes cAMP-dependent protein kinase (PKA), cGMP-dependent protein kinase (PKG), protein kinase C, Akt and RSK. These kinases share a substrate specificity characterized by Arg at position -3 relative to the phosphorylated Ser or Thr (1,2). Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and ELISA., Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1:1000, incubate membrane with diluted antibody in TBS, 5% BSA, 0.1% Tween-20 at 4°C with gentle shaking, overnight., Immunoprecipitation: 1:50, ELISA (Peptide): 1:1000, Optimal dilution determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
