Product information "Anti-Prostatic Acid Phosphatase (PAP, Acid Phosphatase Prostate, ACPP)"
Prostatic acid phosphatase precursor catalyzes the conversion of orthophosphoric monoester to alcohol and orthophosphate. ACPP is synthesized under androgen regulation and secreted by the epithelial cells of the prostrate gland. Sequence comparison has indicated the presence of several polymorphisms. ACPP undergoes alternative splicing in the 3' UTR. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:1000, Western Blot: 1:50-1:100, Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 10ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
